about Our Family

My name is Barbara and Dreamydoodle Northwest is our family-run breeding program. We’ve been breeding our beautiful bloodline of Australian Labradoodles and Mini Aussiedoodles for over 15 years now and we’re very passionate about what we do!

We’re located in Woodland, Washington State, about 30 mins north of Portland, Oregon.

I was a professional web developer for many years in Portland but now I work from home with my dogs. My husband Roy and I have three beautiful kids and five adorable dogs.

Olivia has helped me so much over the years!! She has a great passion for animals just like her Mom and was basically raised in a puppy pool. Olivia is 19 years old today. The picture below is from when she was about 6 years old. She’s still the same and takes her job as our head of the “Puppy Socializing” department very seriously!

All our kids have been a great help and to this day still help with the dogs and puppies – my son is 26 and my oldest daughter is 24! Crazy how time flies!

I love my DOODLE-FULL LIFE!

Our house and our life revolves around our dogs and they make us smile and laugh every day. There is nothing better than a dog.

I honestly believe animals and children teach us about unconditional love.. they’re a blessing and should be treated as such. How a person treats their animals.. will tell you a lot about their hearts.

Why we do it

These amazing curly Doodles have brought our family closer together and have brought nothing but JOY and LOVE into our LIVES. Our program is called “Dreamydoodles Northwest” for a reason and it’s been a lot of fun not to mention extremely rewarding!!

There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the dogs you’ve had a hand in raising, changing families lives for the better. So when people ask me “how do you say goodbye to your puppies”? While, of course it’s not always easy to say goodbye but it’s also one of the most rewarding parts of what we do and it makes it all worth it in the end.

Now I try to pass on what I’ve learned to other breeders and I’ve mentored several newer breeders over the years.

Dreamydoodles Family Memories

We developed our own bloodlines of Labradoodles and Aussiedoodles over 17 years. We started with the F1B generation of Poodle and Labradoodle mix and we also started from scratch with our Mini Aussiedoodle bloodlines as well.
Each generation looked a little different. Enjoy the journey through our pictures!
